... that is the question. But it's too early for me to twist the poor little soliloquy into yet another mutation of what I happen to be thinking of at the morning. I've done one on dating many years ago, and just recently, another one on a poor sysadmin who was annoying the heck out of everyone at a friend's workplace. Suffice to say, the sysadmin got herself fired. Poetic moments, or just rambling moments, you decide. I found one of them, enjoy.
Sysadmin troublesTo be or not to be -- That is the question.
Whether tis nobler to listen to the sysadmin
And be bored to tears by subsequent boring class
Or to take up arms and play the Xemacs games
And by opposing, end boredom. To defy, to be banned
Meh, who cares -- and by a struggle won to say we end
The power struggle, and the thousand non-surprising shocks
That a woman accustomed to power is heir to. Tis a victory
Devoutly to be wished. To defy, to be banned,
To be banned and thus not attend boring lecture no more;
Aye, there's the rub,
For in not attending lecture passing exams may be difficult
When we have finally ended the reign of terror
Must give us pause. There's the respect
That the sysadmin so sorely lacks
Which of master students bolster lab support
Th' sys admin's wrong, the master student's humility
The frustrations of denied freedom, the sysadmin's stubbornness
The insolence of delivered statements, and the consequences
That patient merit of th' unworthy "you're fired!" takes
When she her self might peace make
with a little consideration? Who would associated students bear
To grunt and sweat under bad system downtimes
But that the dread of losing a week's worth of hard work
The undiscovered swear words, from which imagination comes
of a solution to a long pondered problem and lost
Lost sleep and tired minds bear ill will towards those
But mouth in check and sleep desired bear the brunt of frustration
Thus conscience makes cowards of only the sysadmin
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is patterned over with desire of full mastery
Thwarted yet at every turn and attempted domination.
Be kind now, thy master student! Sysadmin, in thy terrorisms,
be all thy sins remembered.

http://www.monologuearchive.com/s/shakespeare_001.htmlI have been sleeping on a mattress lately on hardwood floor. Either I'm really tuckered out when I actually hit the bed or I just happen to not mind sleeping on quasi-hard surfaces, because two nights on it and my back is none the worse for wear, which is really nice to see. I'm not that old! But I still have boxes everywhere except they're actually organized now. I want those boxes out, I might need a dresser at some point, and I want a decent bed! That'll all be, thankfully, remedied tonight. :) Off to Ikea I go.
