It's the laid-back..

... way of life in Europe that I miss sometimes. Here, it is so damned uptight that it drives me nuts, but on another hand, by catering to a very multicultural society you have to try your best to respect each and every culture that's here.

Being gay/lesbian or not offends the crazy religious people. Being naked from the waist up for females offends the old Asian-types who are here. Wearing skirts that are shorter than knee length offends some culture I can't remember, and the tank tops / sleeveless / spaghetti straps offends the conservative people.

You know, whatever I say or do will always offend someone no matter what given the diverse culture we have in Canada... hence I prefer the more laid back way of life.
