Sylvan Lake 2006 - Part 2

... so, for the second time this year, we visited Sten and Glenda with two different visitors this time; Brian and Mads. As ever, Sten and Glenda were happy to recieve us; and Sten was even happier to recieve the gift we brought up for recieving us two times this year and helping us make Canada 2006 for family memorable - a 12 Year scotch.

As usual, Sten served up some large steaks, the size of our dinner plate. Then as we sat around drinking and chatting, I regretfully had to suggest driving home before nightfall hit. Night time driving on the highway is not one of my favorite pastimes.

We do hope to visit him in his new home, 20 minutes away from Sylven Lake once he has acquired it.
