Drumheller 2006...

... unlike the last time I tried to find a church for dance, when I hit the city limits for Drumheller this time I had every intention to make it there.

It was a blast back to the past for myself and Andre. Neither of us remember when we were last there, but we were most likely little kids. Bettina was also reliving memories, and Michael seemed very engrossed in where and how the dinosaur bones came about. We spent the day after at Chinook and then Smugglers.

The drive out was quite nice and the day turned out to be beautiful and sunny. Next on the agenda; excellent Chinese food at a resturaunt with my parents in tow to order the dishes.

Was going to take Diep (and Heidi/Toumas) there but never did. previously was there on a class field trip at the beginning of grade 8, but I used to go a lot as a kid. Aren't all boys crazy about dinosaurs at some point? My favorite was the interactive design a dinosaur game, where you could put an enormous head on the end of a long neck with a tiny body and feet, and the screen would tell you why your dinosaur couldn't survive :)

That was my favourite game too! I spent hours putting t-rex heads on stegosaurus bodies, etc. I hope they still have that game at Tyrell, it's the only reason I went to the museum!

In related stuff, I promised a friend I would go to Dinosaur Provincial Park to visit him (he's doing interpretive guide work there). So potentially right after Geoff and I get back from the honeymoon, we might go camping in Dinosaur. Anyone interested?
