Dragonboating, Calgary 2005

Welcome to all my new readers out there...

The Calgary Dragonboat festival happened in early August but I've only gotten around to posting these pictures now, courtesy of Samson.

Topmade slotted a few boats in the festival, of which I was a part of Water Dragons. The photographer is a part of Spirit Dragons. Our boat paddled well in the second race, landing us in the finals. However, our finals race again we scored fourth, just short of the podium.

Unlike Sylvan Lake, it was gorgeous out and hot enough so that I got a chance to dry off after each race. Andre was also a part of the Red Dragons men's team which medaled silver in the final race.
